"Airism 3D Mask" designed by designer Tokujin Yoshioka will be released by UNIQLO from January 1, 2022. The "Aerism 3D Mask" is designed in a three-dimensional and easy-to-breath shape using UNIQLO's unique three-layered fabric, which has a smooth texture and a non-woven fabric filter. Designed not only from the shape but also from the manufacturing process, and inspired by the manufacturing technology of innerwear that wraps the skin, the fibers are welded by heat to realize a seamless mask. It took about Banner Design a year to develop, and it was said that it pursued a simple and beautiful design while being functional by prototyping and verifying more than 100 patterns. Available in three colors: white, navy, and pink, it will go on sale at UNIQLO stores and online stores nationwide from January 1, 2022.
